Diesel technology includes heavy equipment, oil exploration and extraction, marine industries, the natural gas industry, and big trucks. Students at Francis Tuttle's Diesel Technology training center prepare to work on some of the top equipment in the industry. Learning is hands-on and students have the opportunity to work on diesel equipment from a variety of Francis Tuttle's partners such as Cummins, Caterpillar, Freightliner, International, and Volvo. The program setup is flexible, allowing students and the incumbent workforce the ability to enter at any time and plan a training schedule to meet their needs.

Brad Wake teaches Diesel Technology at the Reno campus. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Career and Technical Education from Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Okla. Brad previously worked as a Diesel Instructor at Canadian Valley Technology Center in El Reno, Okla., and as a Diesel Technician at Cummins Southern Plains in Oklahoma City.
