Scholarships and Other Grants

Scholarships come from funding that does not have to be repaid. If you are accepted, the organization providing the funding will send you an award letter.

Francis Tuttle scholarships are subject to availability. While we will do our best to assist you, Francis Tuttle cannot guarantee the receipt of scholarships. The Aspire Tuition Waiver is a needs-based tuition waiver for students who are not eligible for a Federal Pell Grant. Students may use this tuition waiver for up to two Career Training programs, inclusive of the Next Step Tuition Waiver.

Edmond Women's Club - Apply through the Financial Aid Office or request application form the EWC office at 405.340.2550. The scholarship is intended for women who live in Edmond, are Citizens of the U.S., are at least 25 years old and have demonstrated financial need. Applications are typically available in October.

Executive Women International - Apply through the Financial Aid Office. Applications are usually available by the first of February.

The Francis Tuttle Foundation Grant may be able to provide financial assistance to students in a career training program. Students who need help with tuition or emergency funding should visit with their career advisor for more information on how to apply. Adult students will need to complete the FAFSA to be considered for eligibility.

Next Step Tuition-Waiver Scholarship - Apply through the Financial Aid Office. Available for free tuition in a Career Training Program to qualifying students in the Francis Tuttle Technology Center school district. Scholarship recipients will be required to pay for books, clothing, and any other materials or fees required by that program.

Washington/Dubose Memorial Scholarship - Available for deserving minority students who plan to further their education through Career Tech. The scholarship is provided by the Oklahoma Association of Minorities in Career and Technology Education.

Military Tuition Waiver - Apply through the Financial Aid Office. Available for qualifying members of the U.S. military who have served in active duty in wartime military engagements and are Oklahoma residents. Students must submit a completed application with a copy of Form DD-214. This tuition waiver will not combine with the tuition assistance for students who receive VA education benefits.

Oklahoma National Guard Fee Waiver - Apply through the Financial Aid Office. Available for eligible members of the Oklahoma Air and Army National Guard. The Waiver is for students who attend 12 or more hours a week.

Otha Grimes Scholarship - Available for adult students at the beginning of each semester. Students must fill out the form online and then print and submit it to the Financial Aid office within the first two weeks of the semester. Hand-written applications will not be accepted.

State of Oklahoma Nursing Assistance Program Physicians Manpower - Apply after acceptance into the Practical Nursing Program. The deadline is typically the first of July. For more information call Physician Manpower Training Commission at 405.843.5667.

H.W. Almen Scholarship Fund - Apply through the Oklahoma City Community Foundation. The deadline is typically February 28.
