Students are required to purchase a pair of black uniform-style pants, i.e. scrubs or chino type. No other colors or decorations are allowed on the pants. No jeans, jogging or athletic pants or leggings are allowed.
Students are required to wear a solid white collarless, round neck T-shirt. Three-quarter length sleeves are desirable. No sleeveless shirts are allowed. Students attending class at the Reno Campus are required to purchase T-shirts from the Administration office.
Students are also required to wear solid black professional shoes. Shoes must have full coverage on the top of the shoes and must have a smooth solid surface which is able to be wiped clean. Dress shoes, high heels, canvas shoes, or open-toed shoes are not allowed.
Students are required to wear a smock in a style selected by the instructor. The school will purchase the smock for high school students; adult students are required to purchase their own.
No tuition for high school students.
Adult students attending day classes pay standard rate of $840 per semester for full-time or $420 per semester for part-time.
Evening students pay $672 per semester, due to reduced hours in evening classes. Since evening classes meet for more months, (see Length), total amount of hours and total cost of the evening session remain the same as for day classes.
Only the Basic Operator major is eligible for Financial Aid.
Please note that Francis Tuttle does not offer Cosmetology Board Review hours.

State Board Registration $5. Upon completion of their major, students will need a $15 money order for the State Board Exam registration.
