Salary Range
Technicians who have earned a Certificate of Completion in Orthotics can expect an initial salary of approximately $21,800.00.
Program Length
Full-time: 10.5 months of instruction
Part-time: 21 months of instruction


Program length may vary based on progress rate and/or summer school attendance.
Licensure/Certifications
Orthotic Technician Graduates are eligible to take the national certification exam given by the American Board for Certification (ABC). Application for this exam is through ABC (www.oandp.com). Those who pass the exam are registered by the Board as a Certified Technician in Orthotics – CTO.

Entrance Requirements
The Career Planning Center (CPC) provides interested applicants with an application packet. The applicant must ensure that the CPC receives all application form(s). Refer to the application packet for additional information on assessment tests, preference points, physical exam requirements, and mechanical aptitudes needed.
