Medical assistants are the "right arm" of the modern medical clinic. They are trained to work closely with physicians, physician assistants and nurses. This exciting career is one of the fastest growing health occupations in the United States. With our state-of-the-art equipment and a simulated doctor's office, you will become comfortable in a clinical environment. This program offers you the training you need to assist physicians both in the clinical area and in the administrative medical office setting. Medical Assistants also have the opportunity to work as an Insurance Specialist, a Medical Office Receptionist or as a Medical Office Manager. Graduates may work in physicians' clinics, physicians' front offices, chiropractic offices, insurance companies and approved labs.

Accreditation

The Francis Tuttle Technology Center Medical Assisting Program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP), on recommendation of the Medical Assisting Education Review Board (MAERB) of the American Association of Medical Assistants' Endowment (AAMAE).
