Medical Office Technology

The Medical Office Technology program is designed to prepare the student for entry-level employment in a medical, dental, or hospital office setting. This program specializes in administration, with an emphasis in the practice of various medical office skills. The student completes classroom work using a personal computer. Current skills for word processing and medical office procedures are practiced.

Medical office professionals work in an office environment in schools, hospitals, corporate settings or small businesses. Work often involves sitting for long periods.

2 sessions:
8:00 am - 10:55 am and 12:30 pm - 3:25 pm
High school students and part-time adult students enroll in either the AM or PM session. Full-time adult students enroll in both sessions.
