Advanced Manufacturing

Students in the Advanced Manufacturing Program develop integrated skills in the fields of machining, welding, instrumentation and automation, electrical, electronics, fluid power, mechanical systems, and programmable logic control. These skills have traditionally been developed in separate, stand-alone training programs; however, modern manufacturing processes have created a demand for multi-skilled workers who have strong abilities in more than one field.
Individuals who complete this program will be employable in both the manufacturing and/or energy sectors as Industrial Maintenance Technicians, Instrumentation Technicians, Energy Technicians, or SCADA Technicians.
You will also have the opportunity to select optional courses in Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) distribution and gas/emissions analysis. These courses are not part of the Career Major and must be paid for separately.
