Respiratory Care practitioners are trained in a variety of therapeutic areas to enable them to assist with the treatment of individuals with pulmonary and cardiac disorders. Respiratory Care professionals are very involved in critical care, neonatal care, home health care, skilled nursing facilities and rehabilitation. Entry to the profession requires an associate degree.
