Dr. Peggy GeibDr. Peggy L. Geib has been actively involved in workforce and economic development issues and initiatives for more than twenty years and currently serves as Francis Tuttle's Assistant Superintendent, Business and Industry Services (BIS).

Prior to Peggy’s joining Francis Tuttle, she served as the Oklahoma Department of CareerTech’s Economic Development Liaison to the Oklahoma Department of Commerce. In that position, her primary responsibility was to support and promote CareerTech’s commitment to business and industry’s role in creating quality jobs for Oklahoma, as well as to develop and maintain liaison relationships with members of the economic development community and the Oklahoma CareerTech system.In addition, she has held positions in both corporate training as well as public education.

She earned a Bachelor's Degree from Colorado State University in Business Administration; a Master's Degree from the University of Central Oklahoma in community and adult education with post-graduate work in human relations and organizational development; and a Doctorate from Oklahoma State University, with her dissertation focused on “Workforce Development: A Future of Possibilities."

Peggy is active in community and civic responsibilities and received the "2010 Edmond Woman of the Year Award.". As a member of the Edmond Area Chamber of Commerce, she served as 2008 Chairwoman of the Board of Directors, 2009 Chairwoman of the Total Resource Campaign, as well as serving on several councils in addition to her five years on the Chamber’s Board of Directors.  In 2010, she was recognized as "Outstanding Educator of the Year" by the Customized Business and Industry Training Services (CBITS) Division of the Oklahoma Association of Career and Technology Education (OkACTE).  Other service to the community and honors include: Edmond Rotary Club; Oklahoma City Area Chamber of Commerce, Board of Advisors; Heartland Economic Development Course, Board of Advisors; the American Society for Training and Development – Central Oklahoma Chapter, President and Board of Directors, Oklahoma Quality Award Foundation, Board of Advisors and Examiner; Leadership Edmond Class XIII, Leadership Edmond Alumni Board; 2002 National Leadership Institute Scholar; Educators Leadership Academy; Central Oklahoma Workforce Investment Board Business Connections Team; Oklahoma State University, College of Education, School of Curriculum and Educational Leadership, Advisory Board and Chair; OkACTE, Legislative Committee; Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society; Kappa Delta Pi Honor Society.
