Students will heighten their skill level as a Structural Welder. Application of advanced welding techniques in Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (TIG), pipe and fabrication are used to build, assemble and repair metal projects. 

Licensure / Certifications

  • 6G Oklahoma Department of Labor Certified Welder

*One certification paid by Francis Tuttle. Additional, optional certifications are available at student expense.

Full-time: 8 months of instruction

Part-time: 16 months of instruction

Program length may vary based on progress rate and/or summer school attendance.

Times

Two sessions: 7:55 am - 11:00 am and 12:30 pm - 3:35 pm, Monday - Friday

High school students and part-time adults enroll in either the AM or PM session. Full-time adult students enroll in both sessions.

  • Advanced Standing Credit from Welding I 450 hours
  • Pipe & Fabrication 265 hours
  • Workforce Staging 45 hours
  • Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) 140 hours
