Marian taught in public schools for seven years and has worked in the private business sector for eighteen years. Marian’s first experience with computers was with Honeywell in 1973. She earned her first industry certification in 1998 as a Microsoft Certified Professional, and became a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer in 1999. Marian holds a Bachelor of Arts in Industrial Technology Education from the University of Central Oklahoma and was awarded a Master of Education in Mathematics in 1994 from Southwestern Oklahoma State University. She is a member of the Oklahoma Association of Career and Technical Education and the Association for Career and Technology Education. Marian holds the following certifications: NBCT, MCSE 4.0, MCSE on Microsoft Windows 2000, MCDBA on Microsoft SQL Server 2000, and MCSA on Microsoft Server 2003. She is a National Board Certified Teacher in Career and Technology Education Early Adolescence through Young Adulthood, and received The State of Oklahoma Citation pursuant to the motion of Representative Guy Liebmann, presented by Oklahoma House of Representatives in recognition of National Board Certification and helping Oklahoma rank ninth in the nation with 1,569 National Board Certified Teachers. Marian joined Francis Tuttle in 2000.
