Christy received a Bachelor of Science in Education and a Master of Education from the University of Central Oklahoma. She is also a National Board Certified Teacher, and a member of the Business and Information Technology Education division of the Oklahoma Association for Career and Technology Education and the Association for Career and Technology Education. Christy is also certified as a CIW Master Designer, is certified in i-Net+ and Intro to Oracle 9i SQL. She was also named the ACTE Region IV 2005 New Teacher of the Year Christy joined Francis Tuttle in 2006.
