Education Enhancement Centers

Academic support for students across multiple programs and campuses.

Education Enhancement Centers (EEC's) provide various kinds of academic support for Francis Tuttle students. EEC's operate within multiple areas and coordinators provide services tailored to the needs found in specific programs.

EEC's are available to students in Project HOPE, Information Technology programs, Trade and Industrial programs, Health Sciences, Reno Campus programs, Danforth Campus Programs, and Portland Campus programs. Services available to students will vary, and EEC coordinators work with instructors to enhance and improve support as needs arise.

Some services provided to students are:

  • Individualized tutoring in academic skills, study skills and test prep
  • Workforce staging, assistance with resumé development, job interview prep and other employability skills assistance
  • Support for Career Tech Student Organizations in the form of meetings, team building and leadership training
  • Support for students with disabilities, including the development of an Individualized Education Plan (IEP)

Instruction is provided through hands-on activities, computer-assisted instruction, written exercises, oral discussions and reviews, and teacher-made adapted materials.

Contact your instructor if you feel an EEC could help you succeed in your academic and career goals.
