About this Major

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate are crucial to being a successful Administrative Assistant. Graduates will be expected to establish a rapport with clients and colleagues, pick up proofreading duties, and exercise good time management skills and attention to detail.

Highly trained office professionals are in demand with business growth in the metro, and employment opportunities are excellent. Through Francis Tuttle's program, students learn business administration skills, office machines, procedures for communications, customer service and some legal terminology that is need-to-know while on the job.

Times

Daytime classes, two sessions: Monday — Friday

  • 8 a.m. to 10:55 a.m.
  • 12:30 p.m. to 3:25 p.m.
  • High school students and part-time adults enroll in either AM or PM session. Full-time adult students enroll in both sessions.
