About this Major

Legal Office Secretary takes the courses and training from other majors in this program and applies legal office principles. Students will learn communication skills, procedures, specialties and fundamentals specific to working in a legal office setting.

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate are crucial to being successful in this career field. Graduates will be expected to establish a rapport with clients and colleagues, pick up proofreading duties, and exercise good time management skills and attention to detail.

Highly trained office professionals are in demand with business growth in the metro, and employment opportunities are excellent.
