Admissions Process
All interested applicants will apply online and must first create an account with Francis Tuttle.
High school (9th, 10th, 11th grade) students apply HERE.
The high school application is open to high school students who will be in 10th, 11th, or 12th grade in the 2026-2027 school year.
Graduating seniors and adults apply HERE
The application is open for individuals interested in applying to an adult program for Summer 2026 or the 26-27 academic year. The application is only valid for the 2026-27 academic year. All interested applicants who apply between now and March 5th, 2027, with complete or incomplete applications, will need to reapply for the 2027-28 academic year if a spot does not become available this academic year.
To successfully apply to Francis Tuttle, follow the instructions under the classification you will be when you begin classes. For example, if you will be a high school sophomore, junior, or senior follow the High School Student instructions. If you will be an adult or post-secondary student, follow the adult/post-secondary instructions.
Process for High School Students
Applicants must be residents of the Francis Tuttle Tech School District No. 21. Please consult our District map to see if you are eligible.
Complete a high school application before Spring Break to receive priority consideration for the following school year. Although applications are accepted throughout the year, enrollment decisions are made in March.
Participate in a personal interview with a Francis Tuttle representative during the months of February and March for priority consideration.
Attend the enrollment confirmation night meeting that is held annually, usually mid to late April for the following year for career training programs and Academies.
Process for Home, Charter, and Private School Students
Applicants must be residents of the Francis Tuttle Tech School District No. 21. Please consult our District map to see if you are eligible.
Residents of the district can complete a high school application before Spring Break to receive priority consideration for the following school year. Although applications are accepted throughout the year, enrollment decisions are made in March. Required supplemental items should be returned to the Career Planning Center on the Rockwell Campus.
Participate in a personal interview with a Francis Tuttle representative during the months of February and March for priority consideration for the following school year.
Process for Adult/Postsecondary Students
Post-secondary students and adult students can Apply Online by creating an account.
Students enrolling in Adult Health Programs (Practical Nursing and Respiratory Care) will need to take additional steps. From the Career Training Programs page, select your desired adult program major and complete the adult application located on the right side of that major's webpage. Schedule an appointment with your advisor. Applications are accepted year-round. Out of state applicants can mail, email, or fax their completed application.
Complete the applicable testing requirements as determined by your advisor. This is an ongoing process that has no set deadline.
Students who do not have a high school diploma or its equivalent may want to take advantage of GED Preparation/Adult Basic Education (ABE) classes, which are periodically offered through Lifelong Learning classes.
For inquiries about scholarship opportunities, contact the Financial Aid Office. If applying for federal financial aid, complete the application on paper or online at studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa by April 1, the deadline for priority consideration.
Before you begin classes, make payment arrangements with the Cashier's Office. Payment of tuition or documentation of financial assistance is required.
