About this Major

This major has 4 courses that will get you introduced to the Adobe software used by graphic designers. Desktop Publishers are often an employee that can manipulate someone else's design or documents. Understanding the software will help you be able to work in the programs. The ability to distinguish between good and bad design, creativity, and willingness to be a lifelong learner are also beneficial characteristics of a Desktop Publisher.
