Sterile Processing Technician

Sterile processing is the behind-the-scenes work in hospitals where technicians clean, inspect, and sterilize surgical instruments to make sure they are safe for patient use. These workers help prevent infections and make sure doctors have everything they need for surgeries and procedures. It's a critical healthcare job that requires attention to detail and following strict safety rules.

  • Immunizations: Due to clinical facility requirements, in addition to all previously scheduled required childhood immunizations, students need 2 TB tests, a flu shot, and a COVID shot.

  • Shoes - $40.00-$100.00

*Immunization costs can vary widely depending upon the specific immunizations needed and where they are obtained. All students add cost of clinical immunizations to the estimated total. Additional scrubs may be purchased for approximately $30.00 each, if desired.
