Francis Tuttle offers opportunities for middle school students at several locations and in different formats, providing fun, engaging hands-on activities for middle schoolers in Francis Tuttle partner school districts.
Outreach
Francis Tuttle’s Career Readiness and Development team conducts fun and engaging activities to provide an introduction to the wide array of careers available to students as they approach adulthood so they can make informed decisions about career path choices. Interest inventory assessments help students find potential careers which they may enjoy and are poised to excel, and the next steps on how they can achieve them. It is another way Francis Tuttle helps students prepare to be successful in a career.
Gateway to Technology
Gateway to Technology programs are an excellent way for middle school students to explore STEM through engaging hands-on activities focused on design and engineering principles, as well as early career exploration.
Summer Quest
Summer Quest classes for students ages 11 – 14 are held on campus during the Summer, offering a wide variety of fun, engaging hands-on activities. Classes typically reflect a short, introductory course of one of Francis Tuttle's career training programs, taught by instructors, former students, and other subject matter experts.
