Manual Machining Assistant

About This Major

Students will learn traditional machinery to craft precise metal components according to drawings and specifications. They will contribute to the manufacturing process by performing a variety of tasks that require technical skills, attention to detail, and adhering to safety protocols. Students will learn basic skills in machining processes, print reading, hand tools, drill presses, vertical & horizontal saws, and vertical mills and lathes.
