A Wildlife Control Operator Training course geared toward Oklahoma species will be available at Francis Tuttle Technology Center this spring.
The Oklahoma Specific-Wildlife Control Operator Training Course (OK-WCOTC) takes place on Saturdays from March 14-28 at the Francis Tuttle Portland Campus, 3500 NW 150th St in Oklahoma City. The class takes an estimated 18 hours and that includes the exam. Those who complete the course will receive the National Wildlife Control Operators Association (NWCOA) Wildlife Control Operator Training Course certification.
This class is open to beginners in wildlife control as well as experienced professionals looking to enhance their skills. It will cover essentials of wildlife control such as animal biology and behavior, humane handling and exclusion techniques, site inspection methods, safety protocols, and approved euthanasia practices.
Individuals and companies who work with residential and commercial clients will gain the knowledge and credentials to perform professional wildlife control services in Oklahoma.
