Our Master Barber Instructor career major is designed to teach the licensed barber the skills to become a barber instructor. The curriculum includes teaching methods, learning philosophies, and professional development. This major prepares you for the Oklahoma State Board of Cosmetology and Barbering Master Instructor licensure exam by providing the training and practice you need to become an effective educator for all phases of Barbering. You will study the latest teaching techniques and learning theories while you practice teaching in our on-campus salon and classroom. The Master Barber Instructor career major requires self-discipline, perseverance, and may require extended periods of study time for the student.
*To obtain the Oklahoma State Board of Cosmetology and Barbering Master Instructor license, the student will be responsible for the $10.00 State Board registration fee. The Barber Master instructor exam fee is $50.00. The Barber Master Instructor license fee is $65.00.
Daytime classes, two sessions: Monday - Friday

Barber schools and cosmetology colleges, educator positions, curriculum development and program management, corporate Education and product training, regulatory roles, own or be a partner in a barber school, salon training director, freelancer, Inspections and Licensing Compliance.
