Teaching Assistant

The Teacher Assistant career major is designed to introduce students to various teaching and educational careers in Pre-kindergarten through high school. Students will be able to gain certification as a teacher's aide and work toward entering a college teaching program. This will allow graduates to begin working immediately in a classroom setting or give them an early advantage for acceptance into a college education program.

  • Part-time: 10 months of instruction

Times

Two sessions: 7:55 am - 11:00 am and 12:30 pm - 3:35 pm, Monday - Friday

Students enroll in either the AM or PM session.
