Aspire Tuition Waiver

Students enrolled in a Career Training program and are not eligible for Federal Student Aid (Federal Pell Grants), may apply for the Aspire Tuition Waiver. This tuition waiver applies to students who begin their Career Training program between July 1, 2024 and June 30, 2025. To establish eligibility, the student must meet one of the qualifications below.

Aspire Tuition Waiver Qualifications:

  • At any time in the last two years, the student’s family received Medicaid, Supplemental Security Income (SSI), Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), and/or Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC).
  • The student family’s Adjusted Gross Income on 2023 Federal Tax Return (Form 1040) is below 275% of the 2023 Poverty Guidelines.
  • The student has an Estimated Family Contribution (EFC) below 7395 on the 2024-2025 FAFSA and is not eligible for a Federal Pell Grant.

Students must submit proof of their eligibility to the Financial Aid Office. The Aspire Tuition Waiver will cover 100% of the tuition for eligible in-state students or 50% of the tuition for eligible out-of-state students. Students may receive a tuition waiver for up to two programs, inclusive of the Next Step Tuition Waiver.

All applicants for the Aspire Tuition Waiver will complete the form online. To apply, you must have an active Francis Tuttle Technology Center application.
