Computer Aided Design for Beginner to Advanced

"Our goal is to offer customized training to meet individual career objectives. This class offering may be repeated to allow learners to expand their skills and achieve their goals."

This evening class in computer aided design is designed individually for each student, for beginners to advanced. Students meet with the instructor the first night of class to assess their level and it is designed with specific objectives to enhance their skill level, whether to sharpen skills or to introduce them to CAD.

CAD for Skill Advancement will meet two nights a week for three hours each, during which students will learn procedures for working with AutoCAD or SolidWorks for manufacturing, engineering, or architectural environments.

Instructor Linda Lancaster reflected “Our goal is to offer customized training to meet individual career objectives. This class offering may be repeated to allow learners to expand their skills and achieve their goals.”

Students should have the ability to use a keyboard and mouse, and a basic understanding of file management in Microsoft Windows. No previous CAD experience is required, but a basic knowledge of drafting is recommended. Students may enroll to gain basic drafting skills, then transition to CAD curriculum.

The next class starts October 3. Enroll now!
