Animation Generalist 23-24

This major is designed to teach you the unique skills that set you apart, whether in college programs or the professional world. Students develop creative portfolios to showcase their work.

This is a prerequisite major for all career majors offered within the Animation program.

In this field, tools change at an incredible pace. Both a commitment to lifelong learning and the ability to adapt and work in different styles are important for success. Animators and illustrators must be able to develop work according to design specifications and manage projects and tasks to meet deadlines. Analytical and problem-solving skills, self-motivation, a strong sense of ownership, attention to detail and a disciplined approach to quality are all essential. In addition, because animators and illustrators often work as a part of a team, strong communication skills are important.
