Accounting Clerk

About this Major

As the number of organizations increases and financial regulations remain a focus, the demand for accounting services positions will increase, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Providing useful, accurate financial information is paramount to any company's success.

In the Accounting Clerk Major, students will acquire a basic understanding of accounting and administrative services. An introductory accounting course and fundamental courses in administrative technology will ensure the student has what they need to operate in accounting services positions.

Completion of this major includes certification for the student to occupy an accounts payable position within a company.

  • ODCTE Accounts Payable
