An online option is available to adult students for some classes; however, financial aid is available for the on-campus program only. Online courses provide content through Canvas and the text book publishers’ websites. Students interested in the online program must have a computer, internet connection, printer, Microsoft Office 2019/365 software, and must complete a one-hour orientation on-campus with the instructor.
The goal of accounting is to provide information for decisions. For information to be useful, it must be trusted, so the field of Accounting Services demands a high degree of ethics and attention to detail, as well as the ability to handle confidential information. In addition, for success in this career, you should have basic math and computer skills, strong time management skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
