Motion Designer 23-24

In Motion Design and VFX, you need to bring a passion for learning technical software details, problem solving, and communicating a message to a target audience using creative visual elements, video, and stunning effects. This major will help you develop a strong foundation in motion design and visual effects by teaching you how to create targeted concepts for clients, how to animate them in After Effects, and how to add impressive effects to videos.

In this field, tools change at an incredible pace. Both a commitment to lifelong learning and the ability to adapt and work in different styles are important for success. Motion Designers & VFX Artists must be able to develop work according to design specifications and manage projects and tasks to meet deadlines. Analytical and problem-solving skills, self-motivation, a strong sense of ownership, attention to detail, and a disciplined approach to quality are all essential. In addition, because motion designers often work as a part of a team, strong communication skills are important.
