What You’ll Learn

As a Patient Care Technician (PCT), you’ll provide direct support to patients and assist nurses and other medical staff with essential care. Our hands-on training prepares you for real-world healthcare settings, from hospitals to long-term care facilities. With high demand for skilled professionals, this program is your pathway to a meaningful career in patient care.
Through this training, you’ll build practical skills in:
- Basic patient care and safety procedures
- Taking vital signs and monitoring patient conditions
- Phlebotomy and specimen collection
- Electrocardiograms (EKGs) and diagnostic testing
- Effective communication with patients and healthcare teams
Immunizations
Due to clinical facility requirements, in addition to all previously scheduled required childhood immunizations, students need
- 2 TB tests
- Flu shot
- COVID shot.
