CSA prepares Evelyn for a Career in Computer Science
Through her time in the computer science academy, and her internship at OG&E Evelyn prepares for a career in computer science

I loved my time in CSA. The small class sizes and having the same teachers for three years make it easy to build a relationship and get comfortable with them, which has made it easy to reach out to them whenever I had questions. Even reaching out after leaving the academy for letters of recommendation had been very easy as well.
During my senior year in the academy, our Capstone course worked with OG&E on two projects. At the end of Capstone, I was one of several students that OG&E selected for internships immediately after graduating high school. I have continued that internship remotely while in college at TU.
CSA really prepared me for college, and I made lots of great friends there (I'm in college with several of them). Joining the academy was the best decision I made for my career because I wouldn't have my current internship at OG&E without it. I have learned so much in the internship, and I know it is going to be critical to my future career plans.
