“Everyone believed in me and treated me with respect as if I were already a Respiratory Therapist, from day one.”

After being diagnosed with a serious illness and through a long road of recovery, Liam Ruscio began volunteering in a cancer treatment center, which led him to return to school. While there, he met and was intrigued by a presentation from Francis Tuttle Respiratory Care director Clyde Moss. He reflects on how much he felt valued by all of the staff at Francis Tuttle. “Everyone believed in me and treated me with respect as if I were already a Respiratory Therapist, from day one.” Liam now works at The Children’s Center Rehabilitation Hospital and can’t say enough about his appreciation for “making a difference in kids’ lives and bringing them joy.”
