To apply for Federal Student Aid, Oklahoma state grants, and other need-based aid, you must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for each school year you are enrolled. You are encouraged to complete this application as soon as possible after it becomes available on October 1, preceding the school year. This application uses a federal calculation to determine your family's ability to pay for your education. After you complete the FAFSA, you will receive a FAFSA Submission Summary (FSS) with your results, including your Student Aid Index (SAI). The SAI replaces the Expected Family Contribution (EFC) and is an eligibility index for student aid that determines each student's eligibility for certain types of federal student aid. Please review your FSS to make sure the information is correct. If you listed Francis Tuttle as a school on your FAFSA, we will receive the same information that was on your FSS. The school code for Francis Tuttle is 015702. For information on completing the FAFSA through the FAFSA Mobile App, we encourage you to watch this video.
After a review of your FAFSA results, the Financial Aid Office will send you a letter requesting any additional documents (e.g., signed tax returns, W-2s, etc.) required. If any corrections are needed, the Financial Aid Office will update your FAFSA and determine your eligibility for Federal Student Aid and state grants. The Financial Aid Office will provide you with an Award Offer showing all the financial aid you are eligible to receive.
