Medication Administration Technician (MAT) Update

To enroll in this class apply online

In accordance with House Bill 1880, each individual who has been certified in the 15-hour Medication Administration Technician (MAT) training course must receive at least 8 hours of update training annually to remain current. This class meets the requirements for continued certification as a MAT and is approved by the Department of Human Services (DHS). 

The course is a self-paced flexible option format with the option to complete limited online hours via our Flexible Health Zoom Classroom. Students work with the instructor to create a calendar based on individual needs. A certificate of completion will be awarded. Please note that this class does not provide the update hours for those who have a Developmental Disabilities Medication Administration Technician (DDMAT) certificate.
