Interested in nurse aide training? Certified Nurse Aides (CNA) are employed in a variety of settings including nursing homes, assisted living centers, and hospitals. Students study patient-care theory, practice skills in the lab, and apply knowledge at a clinical site. Students complete 102 hours of class within 12 weeks by working with the instructor to create a calendar based on individual needs. 

The course is a self-paced flexible option format with the option to complete limited online hours via our Flexible Health Zoom Classroom. All skills and exams are facilitated in the onsite classroom setting only. Classes located at the Rockwell Campus.

Students should be proficient in reading, speaking, and understanding English. Accuplacer testing is required for reading and writing assessment. Call 405.717.4323 to schedule the exam. Students may be exempt from testing with 12 credit hours or more of college (send exemption request and transcripts to stormie.roberson@francistuttle.edu). 

Students must provide proof of immunization records to attend clinical. The immunizations are set by the clinical facility and may include MMR, Hep B or waiver, varicella, seasonal flu vaccine, and a two-step TB skin test or equivalent. COVID-19 testing/immunizations may also be required per the clinical facility. Background check will also be completed and is part of tuition fees. A photo ID and Social Security Card is required for certification.
